A full day course dedicated to understanding how to design, construct and operate green Workspaces. The course will present key information on various sustainable office solutions. It included how to develop a green office program as well as achieving internationally recognized green building certification. The event is useful for executives, architects, product designers, technologists, engineers, academics, students, and others interested in exploring ways to benefit from the important shift toward energy efficient and environmentally responsible design principle.

Trainers: Steven Borncamp BA in Economics, MA in International Relations - founder & managing director of SOPOLEC, a founder and president of the Romania Green Building Council from 2008 to present, Chairman of Build Green Central Eastern Europe Steven has assisted the development of seven Green Building Councils and is the Founding President of the Romania Green Building Council. He and his team delivered three "Build Green Central Eastern Europe" conferences, an influential green buildings awards program, and numerous other green building initiatives for the region including in the areas of policy and green finance. He has worked effectively to create a comprehensive and proficient marketplace for green building solution providers. Steve is currently leading four exemplary green building projects and has over fourteen years of successful project management experience. He is currently managing the local implementation and operations of the Romania platform of Construction21.eu and is a contributor to the European platform content. Steven is the current Chair of the Europe Green Building Council Network’s Education Taskforce working to ensure accessible, relevant and high quality sustainable construction education is available throughout Europe and internationally. He holds a Bachelor in Economics from the University of California San Diego and a Masters in International Relations from Tufts University's Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. | |||||||||
